Wildlife stamp possum

To celebrate the selfless work of wildlife carers, Australia Post has created an exciting range of stamp packs with an exclusive offer for Zoo Friends and Volunteers.

When Zoo Friends buy these special issues, 25 per cent of the purchase price will be donated to Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo to assist in their wildlife work.

Wildlife stamp collection

Based around six compelling images, from wombats to a Grey-headed Flying Fox, photographed by Taronga Zoo’s own Mandy Everett, the stamps highlight the role humans play in the care of native wildlife. The Zoos’ Wildlife Hospitals treat and rehabilitate more than 1,200 injured and orphaned native animals every year. A variety of limited edition options including stamp sets, a medallion cover and an exclusive first-day cover overprinted with the Zoos’ logos are available at a special price from $4.50.

Available from the Zoo Friends Office, near Taronga Zoo’s main entrance, or place an order by calling 9969 2777.

Terms and Conditions: offer available to Zoo Friends members until all stock is sold out.
