April 2012: Taronga Welcomes French Gorilla to Breeding Program

Taronga Zoo has welcomed a male gorilla from France as part of the International Breeding Program for the Critically Endangered Western Lowland Gorillas.

October 2011: Taronga Welcomes Three Tiger Cubs

Three Sumatran Tiger cubs have been born at Taronga Zoo, providing a valuable boost to this critically endangered species with as few  as 400 left in the wild.
